PCI Compliance

SE Technology (Sioure USA Corp.) adheres to international PCI (payment card industry) compliance standards for data security. SE Technology Technologies has fully Passed PCI DSS Test by a PCI Approved scanning vendor, McAfee, in the framework of the PCI data security initiative.

As a Qualified Independent Scan Vendor McAfee is accredited by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card and JCB to perform network security audits conforming to the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards. To earn validation of PCI compliance, network devices being audited must pass tests that probe all of the known methods hackers use to access private information, in addition to vulnerabilities that would allow malicious software (i.e. viruses and worms) to gain access to or disrupt the network devices being tested.

About PCI Compliance

The payment card industry developed the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) in response to the overwhelming number of credit card data thefts by hackers. All organizations that capture, process, or store credit card data must demonstrate proof of compliance.

What is the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS)?

The PCI Data Security Standard represents a common set of industry tools and measurements to help ensure the safe handling of sensitive information. Initially created by aligning Visa's Account Information Security (AIS)/Cardholder Information Security (CISP) programs with MasterCard's Site Data Protection (SDP) program, the standard provides an actionable framework for developing a robust account data security process - including preventing, detecting and reacting to security incidents. The updated version, version 1.1, developed by the founding members of the PCI Security Standards Council, became effective with the launch of the PCI Security Standards Council.
